Super greatful to the OpenCoreLegacyPatcher team.
Everything has been great since I installed it in October, followed the guides installed root patches etc.
Running on a 2.9Ghz i7 with 16GB ram and 256GB SSD.
Installed Sequoia 15.0.1 on a new hard drive and it's worked flawlessly and given the laptop a new lease of life.
I'm running 2 monitors with a Thunderbolt to VGA adapter.
Occasionally, after booting, the default animated sequoia trees in the background will appear then disappear and the machine will remain usable, it will not correct itself on reboot.
Through reading reddit, googling etc I've found a fix which is to open the legacy patcher and reinstall the 'post -install root patch', this always fixes the problem, sometimes the patcher reports an error so I try again until it's fixed, on successful completion and reboot everything works as expected.
Then out of nowhere, like today, the laptop reboots with a white screen and fully usable desktop, but without the animated background
Any advice would be appreciated Thanks
