Basically $subj: I had a fairly uneventful (easy and fully functional post-) upgrade from a genuinely supported latest Monterrey, to latest OCLP patch levels & Sonoma. The one thing not working right after all this is an ongoing disconnect of USB drives, on both USB ports. I did the "regular" SMC reset and NVRAM reset, to no avail. Mounting the USB drives, either after a clean system reboot, or after unplugging them, post an "improperly ejected" event, takes way longer than before (~1min).
Anyone having experienced this? Could OCLP have something to do with it? Or Sonoma? If the latter, should I try moving to Sequoia (although I'm hearing other issues with such, on my MBP model, thus having avoided it for now)?
