New Sonoma 14.7.4 - safe to update on MBP 11,4 (15in Retina mid-2015) using OCLP 2.2.0?

Presently running 14.7.3 (with OCLP 2.2.0), and I am running out of ideas on how to fix USB connections dropping - maybe a system update fixes something?!?
