ok. I recently bought and repaired a $50 2012 15" MBP. It has the 2.3 quad core with 16Gb RAM and a 500gb ssd. What version of macOS has been running the best on ones like this? Pros and cons of newer vs older?
Edit- Forgot to mention that it is the non-retina
