Keep getting “an error occurred preparing the software update”

I used this image from someone else’s post cause mine didn’t save. This keeps happening to me I’ve tried probably 6 times now and I always end up here right at the end. I’ve tried reinstalling everything. Any ideas? This is a 2012 27inch imac.
