Hello all,
I have a Mac Pro 5,1 (Mid 2012) with Dual X5675 3.06GHz Xeons, 128GB ECC RAM, RX 480 4GB, Apple AHCI 12+17pin 1TB SSD to PCIe card, USB 3.0 card, upgraded WiFi AC + BT 4.0 card pulled from an iMac (BCM94360CD). 4 SATA SSDs, 1 HDD
I know from other reddit / YT resources that OCLP will install root patches to enable Legacy Wireless for the card it was shipped with, if upgraded it will install the Modern Wireless patches instead. To disable BT not working, you remove the BT spoofing in the OpenCore Config.plist file in your EFI per this YT video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CznMTpK3vi8
Issue: I am unable to get AirDrop or Continuity features working when booted into a Sequoia (15.5-15.7.1 exhibits same issue). I can search, discover, and connect properly to BT peripherals such as my alum Apple Wireless KB and my Magic Trackpad Gen 1. I cannot AirDrop or use continuity features at all and I'm confused what the issue might be.
FWIW, I have a rMP Mid-2015 15" Dual Graphics on Sequoia and all those features (minus Import Photo from iPhone) working.
If anyone has any insight I appreciate it. Thank you!
