MacBook Pro 2017 - without touchbar, will be good with macOS Sonoma?

3 weeks ago I bought a 2017 MacBook Pro to produce music - with logic.

I wanna update it to Sonoma, will this work fine? I used OpenCore before with my old 2008 MacBook.

Anyways, will this be a good update, and will be worth?
