| I’m trying to install macOS Sonoma to my MacbookPro9,2 (mid 2012) with 16 GB RAM and 960 GB SSD, MacOS Catalina 10.15.7. I am using an 64GB USB (as the guide explains) to build the installer and the builder. When I restart the computer, only “Install macOS Sonoma” and by computer’s SSD show up, never the EFI/OCPL Install. I’ve tried partitioning the USB (one where the Install Sonoma is and another where the EFI is) and it doesn’t show up. I have also created the builder in the SSD just in case, but it still doesn’t show up. Do I have to install an older macOS (Monterey, for example) BEFORE installing Sonoma? [link] [comments] |
