Hoping to OCLP my 2014 BigSur iMac to Ventura of Sonoma, but I've hit a wall in grabbing the MacOS installer thanks to Apple not allowing download of later versions.
I'm reading of trusted community caches like OCLP/Discord channels that share SHA‑256‑verified copies of the installer... something new to me adding a further level of complexity to the OCLP upgrade route.
Tell me there is a safe easier way to grab the installer! My mate on with a Mac running Tahoe says his App store won't allow him to download the Sonoma installer for me. Would he have success using a Terminal window?
