I need some serious help. I have a 2014 iMac with 16 GB of RAM and a 1 TB hard drive. I was stupid enough yesterday to think that it would be an awesome idea to run OpenCore Legacy Patcher to update from Catalina to Sequoia. HUGE MISTAKE. Now, my iMac is entirely unusable. I am having so many different issues, but the primary one is a looping login screen. Within seconds to minutes of logging in, it will go right back to my lock/login screen where I have to enter my password. When I am logged in, the entire system is frozen. At one point last night, I was actually able to get into the post install patches and it found one for the WiFi (which has not been working since installing Sequoia via OpenCore), but the issue with the looping login screen persists and I can't even get back into OpenCare to see if there are any other post installation patches since the entire system is either completely frozen or it loops back to the login screen. My Bluetooth Magic mouse doesn't even work at least half of the time now and 98% of the time my wallpaper doesn't load and I have just a solid gray background. Have I totally destroyed my iMac? Please help! :(
