Hey! I got Sierra running on my really old build last night. For troubleshooting help, I have an i5 3570K, GTX 780 and an AsRock Z77 Extreme4. I followed this guide and I have everything working on integrated graphics, but as soon as I connected my GTX 780, everything stops working. When I was trying to install I got a "legacy shim 2" error. Couldn't solve it so I just removed the GPU and went about installing everything regularly.
Now, with Sierra fully installed. I get an "error loading kernelcache (0x9) boot failed". I have the Nvidia web drivers and CUDA installed as following the guides that I found for using an Nvidia GPU. I set the flags in my plist.config to enable them as well. I've experimented with turning the drivers on, off, etc. but the only thing that gets Sierra booting is physically removing the graphics card.
Would appreciate any help possible, this isn't my first time trying to configure a build but this is definitely the most difficulty I've had yet.
