So I have an older PC I built years and years back that I would like to use as a hackintosh now that my Mac Pro broke. My only experience with hackintohes is when I used to run mountain lion on my old laptop with an iAtkos distro. This was like 4-5 years ago. Now with this hackintosh I would like to make it vanilla. I have a working macbook pro where I can get the installation files. My specs are as follows: MBO: AsRock 970 Extreme4 CPU: FX6100 or Phenom II x4 955. Which of these works better with MacOS? GPU: GT610, HD 4870 or GTX 670. Which of these works best? I don't really want to use the 4870 if I don't have to because it's so noisy and I'm doing audio work. RAM: 2x4GB DDR3 1333Mhz Will I be able to make a working hackintosh with these? What version should I try installing? Also, if anyone could point me to some instructions on how to do this, I would be thankful! Thanks for your time :)
