looking into migrating my existing dual boot configuration into an ESXi build so that I can switch between the two without restarting.
but i'm not sure if this is a good idea. my system isn't anything too crazy, i have a i5 4590, 16gb RAM & a GTX 1080. how is RAM & other system resources allocated? i'm guessing the other unused OS is put on 'pause'?
i'm not new at all to Clover & dual booting but very new to ESXi. i might just wait till i have a 32gb system if the RAM can't dynamically be adjusted, or if there are other major pitfalls that i'm not considering. i guess the boot path is like BIOS > ESXi > Clover & Windows ? so that iMessage & other Clover specific features should work fine?
i do all of my work in OS X & i absolutely hate rebooting to windows 10 just to play like 30 minutes of GTA V.
anybody out there have this set up, how's it treating ya?
