Is my current setup dual boot compatible?

I already have a computer running Windows 10 and would like to buy a separate SSD for dual boot MacOS. Is this doable with the following hardware?

Motherboard: Asus Z97I-PLUS

CPU: Intel i7 4790K 4.0GHz

GPU: Evga Geforce GTX 970 SSC 2.0

HDD: Samsung 840 Evo 500GB SSD

RAM: Adata DDR3 1600MHz 8GB x 2

I have done some research and couldn’t find any issues with my setup. Could you please confirm? What is the most simple guide I should follow to get this system up and running?
