WSJ to Join Apple's News Subscription Service [Report]

The WSJ intends to join Apple's upcoming News subscription service, reports the New York Times. However, sources say other major publishers including the New York Times and The Washington Port have opted out.

The Wall Street Journal plans to join a new paid subscription news service run by Apple, according to two people familiar with the plans, as other publishers chafe at the terms that the Silicon Valley company is demanding of its partners.

Apple is expected to unveil the news subscription service on Monday, March 25th at a special event in Cupertino, California. The event will also be used to unveil a new video service.
