Hello Guys, I am planning to build a Mojave hackintosh using custom PC Parts. This will be first hackintosh build.
I need the Hackintosh for xCode Specifically and some low/high Video Editing. I have selected most of the parts but can’t decide a motherboard because I’m not sure if it is future proof @Updating OS.
Components: Processor: Intel Core i5-8400 Processor, Coffee Lake, LGA 1151 (300 Series), 8th Gen.
RAM: G.Skill 8GB Ripjaws DDR4-2666 SO-DIMM Laptop Memory - F4-2666C19S-8GRS.
SSD: Samsung SSD 970 EVO NVMe M.2 250GB - MZ-V7E250
GPU: Asus RX560-O4G Radeon RX 560 4GB OC Edition AMD Graphics Card
Casing + 3 Inbuilt Fans: Thermaltake Versa J25 Tempered Glass RGB Edition Mid-Tower Chassis CA-1L8-00M1WN-01
Cooling Fan: Thermaltake Riing Silent 12 Pro Red CPU Cooler (CL-P021-CA12RE-A)
Help Regarding: 1- Please tell me If I can use a Quad Core Processor of 5,6th gen other than 8th Gen one. 2- If there any other cheap GPU with performance I can use? 3- Most compatible Motherboard for the build!
If I buy some Used Ebay parts, What is the worst that can happen?
