I have an Asus Z97i Plus with i7 4790k (Haswell) that specifies `Supports DisplayPort with max. resolution 4096 x 2160 @ 24 Hz / 3840 x 2160 @ 60 Hz `. However, no matter what I can't seem to get it to perform the same kind of scaling that is possible on my mid-2014 MBP (also haswell, but with Intel Iris Pro) On my MBP (over thunderbolt to HDMI), i get the following in display settings: Everything looks crisp and amazing (I understand the ostensible pitfalls of non-native 2x scaling, but 1080p is just way too cramped, i'd rather have a 1x 1440 monitor at that point). However, on my hackintosh, the monitor shows a different display setting and everything is very blurry: I've gone through the process of setting up Lilu and Whatevergreen very precisely, and the iGPU seems to be working fine: I'm confused how to proceed, on the same machine, the screen works perfectly sharply when booted into windows, so I don't think it's an issue with the cable/motherboard/connection.
