Shot in the dark, but... I’m looking for a Hackintosh tech of some sort.
I’m a professional photographer, and I’m getting into video work. I want to edit on Final Cut X. I don’t have the time of day to deal with the endless toying that is Hackintosh, but I’d be willing to pay someone local who is dependable to, at the very least, get me set up. I’m straddling the LA County and IE line.
My current build includes an MSI Pro Carbon AC and 8700K... I do understand I’d need to add a video card and another SSD to boot Mac OS.
I’d be willing to try myself if someone has the exact same set up and can point me in the direction of a dummy’s step by step to everything I’d need to do. Are there any other media editors here that use a Hackintosh on the regular for pro, paid work? Is it not worth the risk? Help. Please.
