I don't know if my motherboard has some countermeasures against some of these new vulnerabilities, but I tried MSDTOOL for macOS recently, and it showed that the great majority of vulnerabilities were still on my i7-8700 (there were a few lines of green text in there tho).
The weird thing is that when I restarted after this... the entire computer (including Clover) was SLOW SLOW SLOW (like 100MHz slow), which is a pain on a 4.6GHz CPU. It stayed like this until I restarted and changed the boot CPU speed in BIOS (it WAS at 1GHz, but I switched it back to the default 800MHz and now all is good again).
I'm not sure how much longer this would have kept happening before changing that setting?!
FYI - please be careful.
