So first let me start by thanking the community here. A little trial and error, alot of reading but I was able to install Mojave via Clover without any hiccups at all. At first I kept getting the prohibited sign, but found that USB 3.0 slots aren't ideal for installation, tried on a 2.0 slot and it worked flawlessly. Now I just have a few questions as to how to optimize the system.
I've noticed that over the last hour its rather sluggish. My mouse pointer sometimes doesn't move as smooth as it should, sometimes theres split second graphical stalls on loading things, and I can't seem to get preview to open a photo.
Also, is there anyway to get the system to boot naturally off the SSD rather than have to load clover via USB and go from there? When I boot the system no matter what boot priority I select it gives me the same (insert boot media and press any key) error.
Aside from that I have the following all functioning perfectly (I've read these could be problematic)
- Sleep/wake from sleep (wake is a bit slow compared to my iMac)
- iCloud
- Bluetooth (mac wireless keyboard/magic mouse)
- Airdrop
- Sound
- USB ports
My system is:
- i3 8100
- ASRock Pro4 Z370m
- 16gb x1
- RX570 4gb
- OS X Mojave
- Fenvi FV-T919
Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks again for all the help so far!
