Need help with Kaby Lake Hackintosh - iMac 18,3 iGPU hardware acceleration not working

Hi everyone,

I'm at my wits end trying to get the iGPU on my Kaby Lake processor to work on my Hackintosh running Mojave 10.14.5. As far as I can tell, everything else seems to be working fine: sleep/wake, P- and C-states, Bluetooth, USB2 and 3, ethernet, wifi, audio, NVRAM, dGPU, power button, icloud/imessage, handoff, continuity, airdrop.

The one hangup seems to be the iGPU not working, which also means I can't use preview and quick look on JPGs, and am not getting any hardware acceleration from the onboard graphics. I've tried injecting AAPL,ig-platform-id (as per this guide) but with no luck. Before I tried that, the dGPU and iGPU would show up in System Report, but the iGPU still didn't seem to be working.

I thought the iGPU and dGPU were both working before, and the only thing I've changed since then is a custom SSDT for USB injection, but I'm not sure how that would interfere with the iGPU. I followed this guide for USB

My Hardware: - Motherboard: MSI z270 gaming M3

  • CPU: i5-7600K

  • dGPU: AMD RX580

Current Config.plist: - here, with serial numbers removed

Kexts: - Whatevergreen.kext

  • Lilu.kext

  • AppleALC.kext

  • USBInjectAll.kext

  • FakeSMC.kext and plugins

  • XHCI-200-series-injector.kext

If anyone has any ideas of what else I should try, please let me know! If you see anything else I should fix too, I'd greatly appreciate it. I really hope its something stupid I'm overlooking because I'm all out of ideas.
