I’ve never built a hackintosh before and decided to go all in with the open core vanilla guide. After meticulously creating an efi folder, I was able to install Catalina and everything just worked. I was so surprised because I’ve read the most common issues, iMessage, continuity, sleep/wake, etc., and they all worked without any additional configuration. Is this normal? I’m reading through the post-install instructions on the vanilla guide surprised that I didn’t have to do any of it to get it all running. I almost feel like somethings going to break because I didn’t configure something or didn’t do the proper steps.
