Hello, I was following the oc laptop guide on the sidebar https://1revenger1.gitbook.io/laptop-guide/ to install Catalina on my Lenovo IdeaPad Flex 14 with an i5-8265U (Whiskey Lake) UHD 620. Here's my config.plist: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1yyZG2-aaekVdJQ_3P_bhxFrlzsphvKAf/view?usp=sharing Here's my EFI folder: When I attempt to boot the Catalina Installer I get the [EB|#LOG:EXITBS:START] error. I found this guide: https://www.reddit.com/r/hackintosh/comments/g7rqt1/if_youre_stuck_at_endrandomseed_or/ and when I followed its steps I ended up in a kernel panic. It would be great if anyone could point out any flaws in my EFI Folder or config.plist. I think there might be an issue with my Device properties section with setting up my iGPU. On the WhateverGreen Github guide (https://github.com/acidanthera/WhateverGreen/blob/master/Manual/FAQ.IntelHD.en.md) it says: For UHD620 (Whiskey Lake)) fake device-id A53E0000 for IGPU. The guide doesn't specify the framebuffer and ig-platform-id to use for this iGPU so I'm not sure if the once I used in my config.plist are correct. [link] [comments] |
