Intel I225-V Ethernet with Big Sur 11.6

Hi all,

I have a working hackintosh that used to have I225-V Ethernet working on Big Sur 11.5.2. However, I recently updated to Big Sur 11.6 and now my Ethernet does not work fully.

Previously on 11.5.2, I was able to get 1000MBps working without issues on the manual setting. Currently on 11.6, it only works when I set the configure to auto. However, this only gets me 100MBps. When I configure it to Manual + 1000BaseT + Full duplex + standard, it gives me a "Cable unplugged" error and my internet disconnects indefinitely until I set it back to "auto".

Unplugging and replugging the ethernet cable does not help either. Is there anything I can do to fix it?

My board: Gigabyte Z590i. My IOReg.

Config:

  • PciRoot(0x0)/Pci(0x1C,0x4)/Pci(0x0,0x0) with device-id F2150000

  • com.apple.driver.AppleIntelI210Ethernet patch applied. Find: F2150000, Replace F3150000

  • Boot-args: -v keepsyms=1 debug=0x100 alcid=1 dk.e1000=0
