I have been searching the forum for some way to fix this.
I was wanting to update Catalina from 10.11.6 to 10.11.7 and was following the instructions here: https://www.tonymacx86.com/threads/macos-10-15-7-update.303590/
I didn't seem to get very far - after backing up my HD, I went to update Clover. Update was installed sucessfully! I then went to reboot and now it just hangs at the Apple Logo. I may have messed up by updating the kext files mentioned before I did the Clover update...
