Even though I can't make use of continuity (I don't have other Apple products), having to either secure boot to use WiFi; or not being able to connect throughout the WiFi menu, or being able to use location services seems a bit rough. But, as a beginner, I could be wrong. That's why, as the title says, I want to know from your personal experience, if what I've mentioned isn't as bad as it sounds, or if it's worth it trying to get a Broadcom card.
I have to mention that I have a ThinkPad E460 (that's why using Ethernet, although supported in my case, isn't that practical) and found out I could change the wireless card. Because of my country's situation, I'm not sure if I'll be able to get a compatible Broadcom card anytime soon. That's the main reason I'm asking and not getting the card straight away.
