I have a MBP2012 15" nVidia graphics, 16/500. Works great, ran OCLP 1.01 and 14.0.
Downloaded OCLP 1.30, ran it (from /Downloads; didn't copy it anywhere), it updated the boot device, then I rebooted.
After rebooting, it prompted me that OCLP was 1.01 rather than 1.30, so I let it install OCLP again to boot device, and this time it prompted to install root patches. I let it do so, then rebooted.
Ever since then, I get the progress bar at boot about 30% of the way there, then it freezes.
Booting into Recovery (Space, then select Recovery 14.0) does 'nothing' - selecting Recovery turns the screen black, with no further progress.
Note: At no point have I installed any newer OS. This is just OCLP updating...
How can I get my Mac back? I have prepped a 14.3 boot USB stick with OCLP 1.3's help (OCLP is on it) so the plan is to just reinstall without formatting, so I will then go from 14.0 to 14.3 that way.
Any other thoughts?
