Cannot boot into Win 10 anymore

A friend of mine helped me and installed osx sierra via clover on a nvme ssd and windows 10 on a sata ssd. Since day 1 I was not able to boot into windows by selecting one of the "legacy" windows boot options from the clovee bootloader menu (there are two, dunno why). I always had to press F12 to bring up the bios boot menu and choose the win 10 sata ssd disk to be able to boot into windows. It says UEFI in front of the OSX disk but not on the windows disk...is it even possible that win 10 has been installed in legacy mode? I didn't use windows for a month now I when I tried it today I only get a black screen with a blinking cursor in the left upper corner. The only thing I changed since the last successful windows boot were some clover efi config changes through the osx clover UI, like instaling a lan and audio driver (which didn't work) and enabling the shutdown fix. But those changes can't affect the windows partition, or!? Is there anything I could try to fix the windows booting problem while not damaging the clover bootloader. It is really important that my osx still boots. Can I try repairing the windows installation with a usb stick? I hope that will not ovrride the clover bootloader!? Is the clover bootloader installed on a separate EFI partition? Can I back that up, just in case? I have a technical and IT background, but I never built a hackintosh and did the mistake not doing it by myself and now I'm lacking a lot of knowledge and its difficult to catch up when I'm not able to learn by trail and error since I cannot afford to do that on my half working system. I would really appreciate some help. I've got a GIGABYTE HD3P 170 MB, i7-6700K, 32GB DDR4 corsair vengeance and those disk mentioned above...if that's relevant.
