Question about booting a clone on my rig

If I clone my 2013 MB air SDD to another SDD and plug that into a SATA connection on my rig (intel skylake), will it boot?

I'm selling my mac as I need a more powerful laptop (xps 15) for my masters but would really like to keep my OS and files.
