Dell Latitude E6530 External Monitor not picked up

Specs and Info: Dell Latitude E6530, 3rd Gen i7, 8GB Ram, Intel HD 4000, Sierra 10.12.3. It's running as a MacPro 9,2, as the built in screen is 1920x1080.

So far, everything I need of it works, including QE/CI, except wifi and battery meter, but that's not essential as it's just being used as a workstation.

I want to connect a 2nd screen on it to replace my work Desktop, instead of using it alongside it. I've tried the monitor on both the VGA and HDMI outputs on the laptop, but it's not detected. Everything so far is running native. I haven't edited any kext files.

I've tried fiddling with the graphics injection (required for acceleration), but cannot get it to detect.
