My Hackintosh outputs HDMI volume just fine and I've left it the way it is for months now. My only issue is, I can't actually control the volume in any way besides controlling the volume slider on the actual media player I'm using.
Does anyone know if it's even possible to control HDMI audio volume on a Hackintosh?
I just wanna have a definitive answer before I go on researching ways to do it for hours on end only to find out it's not actually possible.
EDIT: I'm on Sierra. I know you can use Soundflower, but SF introduces various degrees of audio lag depending what software I use.
