Apple's AirPower wireless charging mat could launch next month, according to a report from Macotakara. The AirPower mat lets you charge up to three compatible devices at the same time by placing them anywhere on its surface.Macotakara corroborates a previous report from The Apple Post which claimed that Best Buy would begin receiving AirPower units towards the end of March with additional units to be used as store demos.
Our tipster has claimed that Apple’s new charging case for AirPods will launch simultaneously with AirPower in March, however it’s believed Best Buy will only stock the case when sold with brand-new AirPods, hinting that the standalone wireless charging case will be available through Apple exclusively.
