I succesfully got 10.13.4 running on my hack (X79, 4930k), but I'm experiencing something weird with the HDMI ports on my MSI Armor RX 580 8GB.
Whereas the displayport works completely as expected (4k at 60hz), the HDMI ports will only output at 30hz and for some reason are trying to output 8K on my native 4k monitor. No matter what resolution I choose, it is stuck at 30hz and sometimes displays a glitchy green horizontal line at the top of the screen. In windows the HDMI ports work as they are supposed to.
I'm using the RadeonDeInit method, I'm not using lilu+whatevergreen because I'd run into slowdowns after a while. With RadeonDeInit the card seems to perform better, albeit with this HDMI issue.
I'd like to switch to HDMI, because POST seems to take longer when connected to displayport instead of HDMI.
Any help is greatly appreciated!
