All audio inputs / outputs appear to be present, but there is no audio or active microphone.
MacOS version: 10.13.4 Motherboard name: MSI MegaBook GT62VR 6RE (MS-16L2) Chipset: Intel Sunrise Point HM170, Intel Skylake-H
I've tried all sorts of debugging, patching, kexting, etc. Much of which was no-doubt meant for desktop configurations. (Oops) I know it's possible because this guy with the identical codec made it work:

I've tried his methods, but still nothing. I've searched and found many threads on this topic, but it's either for a desktop system / different hardware, or it's something I've already tried. Please help me.
