Apple is looking to develop custom chips that could better interpret health data coming from sensors inside its devices, according to a CNBC report.The site points to a job listing last month from Apple's Health Sensing hardware team.
"We are looking for sensor ASIC architects to help develop ASICs for new sensors and sensing systems for future Apple products. We have openings for analog as well as digital ASIC architects."
