Google has released an update to the Google Maps app for iOS that shows you events happening nearby and the elevation of your route when walking or biking.Navigate your world faster and easier with Google Maps. Over 220 countries and territories mapped and hundreds of millions of businesses and places on the map. Get real-time GPS navigation, traffic, and transit info, and explore local neighborhoods by knowing where to eat, drink and go - no matter what part of the world you’re in.
What's New In This Version:
● Got plans? Yeah, we didn't either. But Google Maps can change that. Just tap on the Explore tab and scroll down to the "Events" section to get a list of everything happening nearby - whether it's a late night comedy show, a movie in the park, or visiting your favorite chef's weekend popup. Summer fun is within reach.
● When looking up biking and walking directions, you’ll now see a handy chart that shows the elevation of your route - so can know if you’re in for a serious case of cardio, or just a leisurely stroll.
