Upgrading from Haswell to Coffee Lake

Hey folks,

So I've been using my hackintosh for a while now, and it's been working OK. Can't get certain things like sleep/wake or hibernate to work properly but i can live without it for now. I have a separate ssd with windows 10 as a fall back so that's not a big issue.

But I've definitely felt the limitations in terms of graphical/cpu power when it comes to adobe (mostly photoshop - what I use for work -again don't rely on my macos ssd i ahve a fallback)

Would upgrading from a i5-4590 to something like a coffee lake i5 and a z370 gigabyte motherboard paired with a lower end AMD gpu smoothen out any kinks? I know there's no such thing as a fully out of the box solution, but i'm willing to put some work into it. i do hear however that there are easier builds and much trickier ones.

At the moment, I'm running an asrock pro4 h97 board with a GTX 960 - the web drivers have been a bit iffy at times on boot, but they work.
