Downgrading back to High Sierra

Hello all,

Just wondering if anyone knows of a way to downgrade back to HS from Mojave. Seems like erasing my SSD then reinstalling with a high Sierra USB is the only option... Does anyone know of a method that won’t involve me erasing my SSD?
