Hackintosh Adobe Premiere Pro CC 2019 - Only Metal?

Just built this:

OS: High Sierra (10.13.6 (17G4015))CPU: INTEL I7-8700KStorage: SAMSUNG E 1TB 970EVO NVME M.2 SSDMemory: x2 CRUCIAL 32GB 16 D4 2400 BSLTMobo: ASUS PRIME Z370-AGFX: ZOTAC GTX1070TI AMP EDITION 8

I edit on Premiere Pro. Got CC 2019 for the first time at home, which is complicating the troubleshooting (for me.) Updated some personal projects. Seems like I keep getting hard corrupting crashes pretty frequently. I've never quite seen so many failures on normal Macs, even after updates (but fuck Apple.)

Switched to Metal rendering and it seems to have helped performance and seems to have solved the problem, but is this really a thing? I'd prefer to use OpenCL if I can.

Super down to get a sick AMD if my 1070ti is the culprit, but would be über down for this build to just be what I need.

Thanks for reading. First post and build, so any and all hazing is warmly welcomed.

EDIT: I regret writing Hackintosh in the title.
