Haswell hackintosh

I'm planning on building a haswell (LGA1150) because of the price-performance appeal of used components of that era. I plan to use this hackintosh mostly for Logic pro, with some photo editing on the side (I edit in 4000x6000 resolution and will be getting a 1440p or 4k monitor soon for this). I'm not opposed to getting a discrete GPU (I'm not going to be gaming on this machine as I already have a PC for that so nothing too overkill) but I've heard that intel iGPUs play better with macOS with sleep/wake functionality etc.

Anecdotally, can anyone recommend components that would give me a relatively hassle-free install experience? Especially motherboard and GPU. I think if I'm not using integrated graphics then I will probably go for an AMD GPU as they are supported better by Apple, but I know nothing about the product names compared to Nvidia lol

Thinking about using an i5 and 16gb RAM. Will probably go for ATX or mATX as size is not an issue and I like the extra expandability. Any suggestions?
