I've been enjoying my new Ideapad 330s (i3-8130u, 8GB RAM, NVME + HDD, replacement BCM94352z) running Mojave 10.14.1
In an effort to get battery status working (and in turn, long term sleep working), I have switched to VirtualSMC (although I am open to the idea of switching back to FakeSMC if it will help the battery situation).
I think I have tried every patch there is, and every kext there is... at one point I got an audible beep when plugging in the AC power!
Sadly, I don't have the beep anymore... just says 0%, and without AC power, says computer will go to sleep shortly. Sleeping laptop for an extended period shuts it down :-(
I did the Mutex patch, and tried many different laptop battery patches... I tried all the renames to EC (H_EC, EC0 etc) without success...
I am at a loss. I love the laptop, and would like to get it working as good as possible... but if the battery status never works, I will just keep it plugged in at all times :-|
Any help greatly appreciated...
