No Nvidia graphics on High Sierra

First time installing a hackintosh, and everything seems to work fine, except graphics, which are detected as "Display 3 MB", with a resolution of 1024x768, and a bunch of visual glitches.

I've followed this guide to get my GTX 1050 Ti recognized, but I'm still at the same stage after completing the first 5 steps. The only thing I did different is - I originally had a build with no web drivers available for it, so I "force" installed one via this script. After that still nothing happened, so I installed the latest security update (10.3.6 17G4015), and its corresponding driver (downloaded from Nvidia's site, not with the script). I also installed "CUDA", which I don't know what it is, but seems useful.

I'm wondering - what should I do now? Are the things I've done so far about most I'd need? Because by now I'm thinking maybe the card isn't even plugged in correctly, but I don't know how to check that (CUDA does say "No GPU detected"). My processor is an i3-8100 if it's any help.
