To explain my computer in more detail, it is an Optiplex 7010 (i5-3470, 8GB DDR3, 500GB HDD) with a msi areo itx Rx 560 and an Evga 500W power supply in place of the stock unit. to make my USB installer I got a VM of osx 10.12 and downloaded high sierra from the mac store. after doing some things in the terminal to give me the full installer, I used unibeast (yes, i'm now aware that's a bad idea.) and created a legacy installer (I should have used UFEI.) i forgot to add multibeast to the installer. the installer got to the first progress bar (after selecting install disk) and then my PC restarts about a third of the way through. right now i'm using using Ubuntu 18.04 LTS Desktop. I'm sure i left something out, so ask me and I will answer you to the best of my ability
