Won't shut down or restart after nvidiagraphicsfixup

PC Config:
CPU: Core 2 Duo E7500
Mobo: Asus p5qpl-am (G41 + ICH7 chipset)
RAM: 4 GB 800MHz
GPU: GT 610

I successfully installed macOS Sierra 10.12.6 with all components working. The computer shuts down (or restart) only if booted with nv_disable=1. Otherwise, I get a blank screen and the computer keeps running.
