Setup: Running Mojave on an intel NUCi5RYH
Just got some new bluetooth headphones / headset (MPOW H1)
It only connects with the SBC codec. Now i have gone through all of the setup mentioned elsewhere to enable the AAC and AptX codecs and they are active and set to force in bluetooth explorer.
However, My headphones will never connect with anything other than SBC.
I have read a post or two about it defaulting to SBC if you have the mic settings as a bluetooth mic and to enable the internal mic.... Now i dont have an internal mic on the NUC. I tried a USB Sounrd dongle thing and selected the mic on that but no dice.
I'm thinking is it possible to spoof an internal mic to give that a go? (i have no use for a mic anyway).
Or does anyone know anyway i can force AAC/AptX on my headset?
