I am having a hard time downloading Mac OS onto my vm

I am pretty new to hackintoshing. If I get this to work, it will actually be my first. So the situation is I need a Mac VM in order to set up my clover boot flash drive. I have tried VMWare and Virtual Box along with MULTIPLE tutorials on YouTube ending with infinite boot and hair pulling. I would prefer to have a Sierra VM or higher but you know at this point I couldn’t care less. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

CPU: Pentium G4560 GPU: GTX1050 MoBo: MSI B250 Pro-VD RAM: 1 module of Crucial 8gb; and 1 module of 4 gb HDD/SSD: Seagate- 500gb 5400 Rpm Hybrid Monitor: Visio Smart Tv

I am not at home right now so my specs aren’t all known like that other 4 gb module and my exact “Monitor” model. Once again thanks for the help.
