My brother came up with an offer, that he'd buy me a gaming laptop (or a laptop) with budget of upto 51k INR (~720 USD) and I have to give him my current laptop/hackintosh (Acer Aspire, i5 4210M, 940m, 12GB RAM, 1TB HDD). While it's sweet of him, the cheapest gaming laptops with 1050ti sell for around 65k, so it's out of his budget.
Instead, I was thinking of building a PC instead, and buying a second hand graphic card. Anyway here's the build - PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

The motherboard should be fine enough to convert to hackintosh, might later buy a wifi module but ethernet should do just fine.
For just 15k I can get an RX 580 used. Also, I might just get a cheap case just to house the components.
Does the plan seem sensible, when compared to getting a laptop and hackintoshing that instead?
