Need help forcing full RGB on new iMac (thunderbolt 3) running latest version of Mojave.

It's for my pen display. I can find scripts and instructions that worked for older OS but people are saying it doesnt work on updated versions.

Side note; when the hell is apple going to throw a toggle for this in display settings?
