I'm only just starting to look into the possibility of doing this. It sounds like it might be doable. What I am curious about--whether it is this specific model of laptop or just Hackintosh in general--is dual booting Windows. I have a 1x 2TB SSD in my laptop and room for another drive.
- Can I attempt to install macOS to a second drive such that is completely separate from Windows?
- Would I need to get rid of Windows first?
- In what order would I need to install the OSes?
- If I can successfully install macOS on the laptop, does Windows need to be installed through Boot Camp?
Lastly, I'm also curious about performance of a successful Hackintosh build. Would you be able to use something like Logic Pro X efficiently?
