system config is 8600k i5, Z390-E Gaming board, 1070 GPU, running High Sierra.

Issue 1: can't shutdown/restart the computer. when i shutdown or restart, I get the spinning logo made of lines, it spins for a few seconds, then disappears. the monitors both turn off and go into standby mode, as do the keyboard and mouse. everything looks off, except all the fans and LEDs in the tower are still going. tried FixShutdown in ACPI, and Darkwake, Darkwake=1,3,4,8,9,10. no dice.

Issue 2: Battle.net. i play World of Warcraft, and while i know i can just boot over into the windows partition and play there, i like not having to. i'd rather just stay on OSX if i want to play. i can connect to battlenet with there thing, but when i try to download the game client, it stops downloading after a few seconds, then says they are having problems communicating with the servers, and to check my internet (which seems to be working?) im using Rehabman's fork of IntelMausiEthernet from 11/2018
Any assistance would be appreciated.
